Henstone Five Year Old English Single Malt Whisky 70cl 46%
Way back in 2017 the distillery started producing whisky and filling casks with new make spirit. Over the years these have matured into whisky and the early releases came from the casks laid down at this time. They kept some casks back however, and in early September 2023 they released a single cask’s worth of 5 Year Old Age Statement Single Malt English Whisky. Matured in an ex-bourbon cask (number HDC009), bottled at 46% this smells and tastes amazing – it’s a corker.
