The Isle of Wight Distillery, founded in 2014 by Xavier Baker and Conrad Gauntlett, is the island’s first and only distillery. It’s renowned for its premium, hand-crafted spirits, particularly the Mermaid Gin. This gin features a blend of fresh organic lemon zest, peppery grains of paradise, and locally foraged rock samphire, known as 'mermaid’s kiss’.
The distillery is committed to sustainability, using ethically sourced and wild-foraged ingredients. They also support seagrass meadow restoration projects and have adopted a plastic-free approach.
