Wire Works Coastal Smoke is a dual maturation of the distilleries lightly-peated spirit, distilled with two sets of cut points for added complexity, initially matured in first fill ex-bourbon barrels from Heaven Hill, and finished in Islay whisky barrels.
Nose: Baked vanilla cheesecake, lemon meringue, campfire ash, candied ginger, fruit salad sweets, fresh pineapple juice, smoked meats, murray mints.
Palate: Jaffa cakes, jelly baby sweets, banana, fresh mango and papaya, peaches and cream, peppermint, rhubarb, fennel, macadamia nuts.
Finish: Malted biscuits, sage, lavender, soft lingering peat, orange marmalade, sherbet.
