In a bountiful twist of bramble vines, on the edge of the Scottish Highlands, sits The Glendronach Distillery. Here, the land gives its plentiful riches - this is the Ode to the Valley. Matured in a combination of ruby port casks from the Douro valley in Portugal, and the distilleries signature sherry casks, this expression presents sweet notes of floral nectar to dance in harmony with succulent ripe summer berries.
Colour - Burnished copper
Aroma - Late summer berries and chocolate dulce de leche imbued with sweet demerara and apricot glaze.
Palate - Sip blackberry and roasted apple crumble with freshly baked gingerbread and sweet damson plum.
Finish - Black cherry cake, liquorice and acacia honey.
