Octomore Single Malt Whisky, from the Bruicladdich distillery,  explores the influence of terroir, cask management and experimental high peat levels, pushing the boundaries of whisky making to their extremes.

This Octomore Single Cask is matured and bottled exclusively on Islay and hand selected by the Master Blended Adam Hannett. The barley varietal, cask type, ABV, PPM and vintage , are specific to each cask, meaning this limited bottling cannot be repeated

The name "Octomore" comes from a historical farm (Gaelic for "eighth manor") located about two miles from the distillery, where an earlier distillery operated from 1816 until 1852. Today, the modern Octomore brand continues the legacy by producing some of the world's most heavily peated single malt whiskies at the nearby Bruichladdich facility.
