Crafted from spirit matured in equal parts in hand-selected second fill Oloroso sherry hogsheads and ex-bourbon casks., twelve years resting in the distilleries warehouses has resulted in a delectably smooth whisky with a depth of flavour showcasing the very best of Wolfburn.
On the nose, sweet and floral notes mix with a gentle hint of peat smoke. On the palate there's a great depth of flavours, hints of honey mix with soft spices, overlaid with sherry sweetness. Dried fruit and caramel provide a beautiful lingering finish.
